About Us - Competencies and Technical Infrastructure
FMT Tarnów provides the technological foundation for industries that do not tolerate errors. We design and manufacture industrial machines and metal components, maintaining full control over every stage - from concept, through metal machining, to implementation.
We operate using our own machine park, performing precise metal machining, component manufacturing, and individual technological projects. We specialize, among other things, in solutions based on cylindrical and internal grinders and industrial lathes, adapted to real working conditions.
Our approach is based on repeatability, durability, and technological precision. We create industrial solutions that work not just in theory, but in the actual production environment.

About FMT Tarnów
Fabryka Maszyn Tarnów was established in 2010 as a result of organizational transformations within Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów S.A. The separated civilian production included machine tools, tools, tooling, and machine overhauls, creating the foundation for the company's further development.

Technological Heritage
Since the beginning of its operations, FMT has continued the production of industrial machine tools recognized on both domestic and foreign markets. The offer included, among others, TUJ lathes (TUJ-380MF, TUJ-380CNC, TUJ-560M, TUJ-630M, TUJ-560MEF, TUJ-630MEF) and RUP280 cylindrical and internal grinders.
Simultaneously, the company developed machine tool servicing and spare parts sales for models such as TUB-25, TUB-32, TUJ-48, TUJ-50, RUP-28, and ROPA16, maintaining continuous support for clients' existing machine parks.
The scope of activity also included the production of tools and technological tooling, as well as the manufacturing of lathes under license from the German company GDW (LZ-250, LZ-360, LZ-400).

Critical Moment
In 2013, the company declared bankruptcy, which interrupted operational continuity but did not end the history of the brand or its technological base.

Rebuilding and Continuation
The enterprise was acquired by a Polish investor and currently operates as Fabryka Maszyn Tarnów sp. z o.o.
A key objective became the revival of domestic machine tool production based on existing design and technological documentation and the machine park.
