Technical description

The TUJ-380 MF lathe is designed for typical turning operations while maintaining high efficiency and machining accuracy. High motor power and the use of ball screws in the carriage drives ensure stable and precise machine operation.

The main drive is transmitted via a belt drive using a 7.5 kW electric motor controlled by a frequency inverter. The use of a sliding double gear in the headstock enables stepless spindle speed regulation in two ranges:

  • 30-800 rpm
  • 120-3000 rpm

This solution allows for optimal use of drive power and maintenance of proper cutting conditions.

The lathe is equipped with a SINUMERIK 828 or FANUC Oi Mate TF control system, featuring manual electronic handwheels. Synchronization of spindle rotation with the Z-axis drive allows for the production of all types of threads with any pitch.

Machining capabilities include:

  • spherical surface turning

The machine is equipped with a HASSE quick-change tool post. The TUJ-380 CNC version with a PRAGATI multi-tool turret is also available in the offer.
