Technical description

The LZ-400S lathe is designed for a wide range of turning operations while maintaining high machining accuracy. It enables processes such as:
  • turning
  • facing
  • boring
  • taper turning
  • drilling
  • thread cutting: metric, imperial, modular, and Diametral Pitch
The application of a two-range, infinitely variable spindle drive ensures a wide range of spindle speeds, enabling the selection of optimal cutting parameters and efficient use of motor power. The machine offers a wide range of feeds and thread pitches. It is adapted for machining workpieces mounted both in a chuck and between centres. The lathe is equipped with a leadscrew and feed rod guard as well as a full-length rear chip guard. The construction, based on a hardened cast iron bed permanently mounted on a welded steel base, ensures high rigidity of the system. The base integrates a removable chip tray, a cooling system with a fluid tank, and storage space for tools and equipment. The electrical cabinet houses the power supply and control switchgear.
