Bed grinding: the foundation of machine precision

Bed grinding is not a cosmetic finish - it is the reference for the whole machine. Every micron of deviation affects precision, durability and process repeatability. At FMT the guiding surface is a datum that must match the design intent: not “good enough”, exact.

The way works under load, in motion, over time. If it is disturbed, the error multiplies through the kinematic chain. We analyse wear, enter the material structure and restore the geometry defined by the design - decisions based on measurement, not routine.
