LZ-400S lathe: mass and cutting stability
Classic turning, absolute stiffness. Precision rotary machining needs a bed that resists bending and torsion. The LZ-400S uses a heavily ribbed cast-iron bed, hardened and ground to hold geometry under load.
The structure neutralises vibration during chip formation. Stiff spindle bearings support the full path from roughing cuts to finishing that needs tight form and dimensional accuracy. Accuracy class to DIN 8605.
System parameters
- Vibration damping: optimised bed mass distribution.
- Ways: high resistance to abrasive wear.
- Kinematics: smooth torque transmission to the spindle.
